18th October, 2005 Our guest speaker on the 11th October was Carol Yip, a Financial Coach of
Abacus Advisory. Carol managed to engage the members present last week into a
discussion on how we communicate with our spouse about financial issues or
rather the seemingly lack of communication that exist between couples.
She spoke
of her experiences dealing with couples going through financial issues that
result from a lack of honest and open communications.
This was supplemented by real life experiences from some of the members
demonstrating the benefits from being able to communicate openly with your
spouse about financial dreams and attitudes towards money. |
